Achievement Leader

Salary: MPR / UPR plus TLR2b £4,486 a year
Hours per week: 1.0 FTE, Full time

We are looking to appoint a talented Achievement leader to lead a year group.

You will:  
• be a member of our senior leadership team as Achievement Leader 
• be an excellent class teacher, leading by example for teachers in your team
• be accountable for leading, managing and improving standards across your year group
• be responsible for the behaviour and pastoral care for pupils within your year group
• be accountable for tracking and analysing  pupil progress

Family Worker

Salary: £13,400 - £14,851 a year
Hours per week: 22.5, Part time - Maternity Cover

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and confident person to join our family support team.  This role is a temporary position to cover the maternity leave of one of the team. You will be passionate about improving children’s wellbeing and their ability to achieve in school by working in partnership with their families.

About you

You will: 
• have previous experience of working with children and families in a multi-cultural context 
• be able to communicate with ease building rapport with adults, children and key professionals including Educational  Welfare Officer and Social Services 
• be able to work with families in challenging circumstances with the ability to remain calm  
• have the ability to deliver family learning and encourage adult learning within the school and wider community 
• have an understanding of the EHA process

Clerk to Governors

Salary: £10.27 - £11.24 an hour
Hours per week: As scheduled, Part time

 

The Governing Body is looking to recruit a Clerk to the Governing Body as soon as possible. The role will include:
•Preparation and agenda planning for, taking the minutes and clerking of Governing Body meetings, Governor Committee meetings, and other meetings as required.
•Ensuring that relevant paperwork and information for Governors and Committee members are circulated in accordance with regular deadlines
•Advising (or having access to information) the Governing Body on governance legislation and procedural matters where necessary before, during and after meetings;
•Maintaining correct membership records, and systems for all governor correspondence.

About you

 

You'll:
• Have excellent IT skills and have access to e-mail and to a computer 
• Have completed a National Training programme for Clerks to Governing Bodies, or be willing to undertake the programme
• Have excellent communication skills, particularly written and be able to take accurate concise minutes
• Be able to  maintain confidentiality, integrity and impartiality
