Assistant SENDCo

Salary: MPR / UPR plus Special Needs Point 1
Hours per week: 1.0 FTE, Full time

We are looking to appoint a talented Assistant SENDCo from September  to support our Inclusion Manager and SEND team.

You will: 
• be an excellent teacher who is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
• have good knowledge and understanding of working with pupils with SEND and EAL
• have a sound understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and how the curriculum can be modified to meet the needs of all pupils
• have experience of building strong relationships with parents and carers
• have knowledge of meeting the needs of EAL learners

You will:
• have high expectations of yourself, your pupils and be committed to raising standards
• want to make a difference and be part of our inclusion team
• be ambitious and ready to take on extra responsibility, or an experienced SENDCo  wanting to develop your role in a different setting
• have the National Award for SEND or be prepared to work towards it – we would support you in this

Class Teacher - Maternity Cover

We are looking to appoint a talented class teacher to teach a Y4 class whilst the teacher is on maternity leave. The role is available for up to 12 months and has a June or September 2019 start.
