Welcome to the Family Centre
Our purpose built Family Centre is the hub of our school and our community.
It was opened 27th May 2011 by Mayor Don Worlding. We are very privileged to have such an excellent facility to extend learning to our families and our community.

Family Worker
Family Workers are dedicated in their role of supporting the children their families and the community whilst building strong professional links with outside agencies and schools within the catchment area. Parents are empowered to promote their own learning, build upon their own skills and support the educational needs of their children within the school and home environment.
As part of our role we also provide one to one support to individual families. This is tailored to meet their needs and can include parenting advice, attendance and signposting onto different agencies for specialist guidance.
Application Form Support
Application forms can often be difficult to understand and confusing to fill out. Family Workers can support parents to complete this e.g.
Activities
Family workers also organise and run activities and trips for the children, their families and members of the local community.
