Wrap Around Care

Our Family Workers run a Breakfast Club in our Family Centre offering an opportunity for children across the school to enjoy a social breakfast  and participate in craft activities before school begins.  There is a selection of cereals and toast the children can choose from.

Breakfast Club doors open at 8:00am and the children are escorted to their class by the Family Workers at 8:40am.

We try to be as flexible as possible for our families and we understand that you may sometimes need to access Breakfast Club at short notice.

If you are interested in a place, please contact the Family Workers on 01582 509121, who will be able to give you a registration form.

The cost of the club is £3 per session.   If you have two children the cost is £5 and if you have 3 children the cost is £7.

DfE Early Adopter Breakfast Club – April – July 2025

I am pleased to announce that we have been chosen by the DfE to become an early adopter for the free breakfast club scheme which starts after the Easter holidays. All schools were able to apply to the DfE, and 750 schools have been accepted. We are one of only four settings in Luton to be on this scheme, which is amazing! Our feedback will inform how the scheme is rolled out nationwide in September 2026.

You will have received an expression of interest letter asking you if you would like your child to attend the breakfast club from 8:00 – 8:40, where breakfast will be served, or the childcare only option, where your child will take part in activities from 8:00 – 8:40 but no breakfast will be served.

For both clubs there is no cost to you and your child will be taken straight to class at 8:40 by our staff, ready for registration and the start of the school day.

The new free breakfast club and childcare club will start on Wednesday 23rd April 2025, which is the first day back after the Easter holiday.
